can you hook a PSW505 sub to a HTR-3065 receiver?

Im fairly new to the home audio scene and need a little insight on this..I just bought the PSW505 sub and want to know if there is anything I need to look for in a receiver to be compatible with the sub and have found the HTR-3065 at a good price and want to know if its good to go

As of now Im building my system around my sub as that is my first purchase in the long road ahead and I have two older aiwa speakers for the left and right front but are only 100w...and on the HTR-3065 receiver is this a good first buy
