A friend of mine is thinking about picking these up:

And asked me for input. Since I know absolutely nothing about these speakers, I'm curious if anyone here has had ears on them before? Any input, good or bad, would be greatly appreciated.

    I think they are more geared towards home theater. Not sure how good they are for 2-channel plus price seems high.

    Never liked them myself, highs too piercing and they don't image all that well. For 350 rocks, I think your friend can do better.

    Thanks gents. I told him I'd look for a nice used pair of floor standing rtis or lsis instead.

    Those are post Harmon Infinity's. The death of a fine speaker company imo. For that kind of cash tell your friend he can have "real" (vintage) Infinity's! Many models to choose from in that price range. Well, if he is wanting Infinity speakers that is.
