Wow to my first amp addition!

Thanks to Paul for the B&K 200.2 which has opened up the LSI 7's and I'm loving life. The bottom end has more punch and the top end is more clear/audible. Sorry for not being versed on the audiophile jargon but I can say that my ears are happy and can see more upgrades in the future.

Congrats! Not to push you further down the hole, but when i got my 1st amp I could not resist wanting to hear it in a 2 channel only setup with a preamp. so I bought a Vincent SA-31 and down the hole I went.... I now listen to 95% of my music in 2 channel setup. but it can be done with a HT setup too, especially with the SC-27 elite.

I read a thread last night about this and the need for the pre to have HT bypass. Not sure how this works. I assume the pre for dedicated 2 channel would have to be on for HT viewing. My music listening will be strictly 2 channel.

Going to do more research on this and have already been looking at used pre's, B&K 30, P3,5 and M6 because of the USB input. Anyhow, the DW says I love to dig holes. :D

Also, trying to talk the DW into letting me use the spare bedroom for a dedicated music room. This would be a miracle sell but I have to try.

Yea. I watched and watched this amp and was lucky to get it. Was worried about having to place it in an enclosed cabinet but I took the back panel off of this bay and she is only running warm.

I was just wondering about this amp the other day, what pre are you using? Hey congratulations on a real nice amp!

I had the 200.2 with a parasound P3. It was a REALLY good match.

Played " Alison Krauss + Union Station Live" at Louisville Palace and why did I wait so long to add a separate amp. The 7's sounded really good but I think there's another upgrade on its way.

Glad your ears are smiling. FYI, you will hear a few words "rabbit hole" thrown around from time to time. It will make your wallet frown but your ears will grin to levels you thought not possible. Congrats!!

You said that right, I thought the same thing when scratching that check today to Best Buy for a few recent Magnolia purchases. Nice amp Wedge, and like stated above welcome to the rabbit hole.
