The audiogon feedback system is a Joke

Well I will link the thread I did about a seller taking my money for an item and then bitching about how low he listed it. Long story short, I paid him for a high end pre, he said that after I paid some one just came to his house and paid cash and this was 5 minutes after he rejected an offer that just prompted me to pay with buy it now.
The listing is back and he is selling it for more than he did to me but it brings me to the point. I left him negative feedback sayng he sold me the item then backed out and he was untrustworthy, he complained to audiogon and they removed the truthful non harsh feedback and now the same item is back up for sale.

Here is the new posted listing http://forum.polkaudio.com/discussion/164618/audiogon-seller-backed-out-after-taking-my-money#latest
Here is the listing he sold me https://app.audiogon.com/listings/tube-cary-audio-design-slp-05-black-tube-preamplifier-2014-11-04-preamplifiers-77084-houston-tx?show_listing=true
I am just livid about audiogon right now the place is a joke and the staff are idiots who do not abide by the rules they set. -
Go to his home and whip his ****JC approves....he told me so. (F-1 nut)
-
This cant be legal though can it? I mean he took $3500 out of my pocket for this and now hes selling it for $400 more. I wouldlove to know if you could take some one to court over something like that and get the pre at $3500 and make him pay for all the legal fees.

Did you get your money back??
-
What do you think Deron, after a month of not getting my money back that all I care about is the feedback system?
-
Did you get your money back??

Yes I got the money back obviously otherwise this would not be a thread about the audiogon feedback system.
In other words is a thread about ....wait for it......... the audiogon ' feedback' ....system. -
I just sent a message and asked if it was the same preamp and he said it is not. If anyone here would like to help find that out then kindly send him a message asking for the serial number they would receive if they bought it as the unit he sold me was 120303.
-
Who cares if it's the same preamp? I'm sorry that your feelings are hurt that you didn't get the item, even if he really didn't have a local sale lined up and got cold feet, big deal. You got your money back, so your square. Audiogon did what they deemed right, like it or not. If you don't like the way the site conducts it's business then don't give them any business.
It really is that simple. -
I'm glad you got your money back , the guy on audiogon sounds like a tosser, another reason I'd rather just buy and sell here with my fellow CP members.

I dunno man, sometimes it seems you have more money than sense. ...just sayin.
-
So the guy pulls the listing, sends you your money back, and re-listed at a higher price. Shady practice maybe, but not so far removed from everyday business.
Seems to me the guy realized he could get more for it, looking at his original listed price. Are you just pissed you couldn't steal it yourself and resell for the profit ?HT SYSTEM-

C-r-a-p happens comes to mind and not a whole lot you can do about it
Few years back I was auction bidding on a local to me VPI TT on the 'gon which statistically I won then seller renigged ( yes price was low)
The TT showed back up 3 weeks later for auction, under my wife's login I won again....so I thought.
Turned out I was actually bidding against the seller who had a 2nd account login also.
Turned the seller in, nothing really happened and never was able to get the TT.

Remind anyone of this thread perhaps....
http://audiomilitia.proboards.com/thread/171/music-direct-cancelled-order-sellHey guys, I ordered a bunch of musical fidelity m1 click dacs and paid them. Well they refunded my money and raised the product price by $200 and sent me this email "Kevin,
It has come to my attention that you are buying Musical Fidelity M1Clics to sell on Ebay.
You are not an authorized Musical Fidelity dealer.
Selling these units to you would violate our dealer agreement with Musical Fidelity.
Your order has been cancelled and no units will be shipped.
Your credit card has been authorized, but has not been charged.
The authorization will drop off in 3-4 business days.

Can these guys do this to a customer? I do not see anywhere that states you cannot sell these elsewhere. Enders your post has nothing to do do with this thread so add it to your list of thread crap failures and behave yourself lol.
Tony, doesnt matter if I was gona sell it or take all my clothes off and dance around it in a circles rubbing my self against balloons. Its my buisness what I do with my money and requires no explanation to the forum.
The threads about a feedback system that is unjust. -

Your entitled to an opinion but your still wrong, its got nothing to do with the topic that is the agon feedback system.

I am trying to figure out why you continue to come here looking for sympathy. It is clear that most members aren't interested in your latest caustic adventure.
The technical term is "attention wh*re"."Some people find it easier to be conceited rather than correct."

Who is looking for sympathy? I see nothing in the thread requiring a sympathetic response. The only thing thats clear is that you add nothing to this thread but your own blurred take on reality.
-
My advice to you is to hack audiogon's serevers, steal some of the VIP's email, then blame it on North Korea. Make sure to keep a log of it here on this thread so we can follow along.
Or... you can just let the whole thing go and spin some tunes and be happy for the gear you have. -

PFB... I actually do kind of like you. My problem is perfectly illustrated by your quote.
I have no clue what you are trying to say half the time.

Oh I know you care for me as its totaly evident in your response posts that have an almost maternal nurturing quality.
