    Once you head into the Multi Disc category, they may sound good but the reliability is horrible. I've now had two Marantz "universal" disc players with "unexplainable" problems.

    My Oppo has been flawless for nearly two years...

    My old Marantz CD-5004 was great, no issue. But again, once you start talking "universal" players like the Oppo's, Marantz can't build a reliable unit IMO.
