Strip lighting suggestions for media center

We just got a new wood veneer media center for our living room. It's big enough (60") to fit all my gear and CDs. The only problem is that all my CDs are now in the dark.

I'd like to install some hidden LED track/strip lighting that will turn on when I open one of the cabinet doors via the use of a normally closed door switch. The lights will be mounted vertically, behind a lip, so that they will illuminate all the internal shelving. I was going to go to Lowes and see what they have to offer. What does anyone here use?

    Not sure where you are located, but I just started a thread on some strip LEDs from IKEA. I also researched about a year ago, and found some insanely priced stuff on Amazon, but maybe it's come down in price by now.

    Only asked because IKEA is where I got my lighting and I didn't know if you were close to one.
