Power for my new Polk speakers.

Hello all; newbie here. Yes, this is an old question in a way, but there are so many variables involved that just doing a search was more confusing than enlightening. So here's the deal- I have a new set of RTiA7's as well as a PSW125 subwoofer. Currently running these with a vintage Denon receiver from the late 80's (DRA-95VR). This is strictly a 2-channel, music only setup for a large but not cavernous living room. So far, I am blown away by how great this system sounds, but with all the talk of the high power needs of these speakers, I'm wondering whether I should consider a new amp and/or receiver. Any thoughts on this? The Denon was one of their top receivers way back when, but I have no idea how it stacks up to more modern equipment. Thanks in advance.

Look at a nice integrated amp or separates.Political Correctness'.........defined

If you have pre outs on the denon you can buy a nice used power amp. Brands to consider include odyssey, parasound, b&k, and probably a few others."Science is suppose to explain observations not dismiss them as impossible" - Norm on AA; 2.3TL's w/sonicaps/mills/jantzen inductors, Gimpod's boards, Lg Solen SDA inductors, RD-0198's, MW's dynamatted, Armaflex speaker gaskets, H-nuts, brass spikes, Cardas CCGR BP's, upgraded IC Cable, Black Hole Damping Sheet strips, interior of cabinets sealed with Loctite Power Grab, AI-1 interface with 1000VA A-L transformer

Haven't been able to get an ear on any Blue Circle gear but from what others tell me they are pretty darn good.
If only for 2 channel music, I see no reason to be looking at receivers to further your sound quality. An integrated may be your best bet for ease of use and SQ. I'm somewhat partial to Musical Fidelity integrateds for their tone, detail and musicality especially if you like a tad warmer sound too which may offset the kinda bright top end of the RTI series of speakers. Certainly not the only players on the block though.HT SYSTEM-

. Don't quote me on that, but I don't think I'm lying.
LOL....well you had those kids pretty well bamboozled in that Christmas photo pal.
I'll second that notion though, anything hand built in that price range appears to be a steal these days.
