Still trying to figure out which amp to go with my B&K Ref 50. B&K is a possibility, but I'm also interested in the Sunfire Signature amp. I wonder if the B&K and Sunfire would work together. Anyone have experience?

kelley,
I am not sure you can really mess up either way. I opted for Sunfire because I stumbled across a scratch and dent Signature Cinema Grand (series I) on ebay and felt I could recoup my outlay, if I wasn't happy. Well, I still have it and even added another just for grins.
TBH the only B&K I have heard is a 2 ch 2140 I also won on ebay. I do like its sound as well, but of course at nearly 4x the rating the Sunfires are just more authoritative.
FWIW, I took the 2nd Sig Cin to Russ' and I think the attendees were uniformly impressed.More later,

Tour, I forgot about your profile saying Sunfire. That's good to know that you have one and think it's doing alright. I think the thing that's going to kill me with a new multichannel amp is the fact that I run 2 centers. Right now I use a 6 channel Denon with 2 more monos to run everything. A 5 channel amp is not going to probably have 2 sets of speaker outputs for each individual channel to be able to run both centers.SDS-400, SDA-1B, SVS 20-39pc+, B&K Ref 50, Denon 2900

Understand... Just another reason to go with the used 5 ch's. With two I've got 10 ch's to parse out as I please. Currently that's 4 for the mains, and 5 for the center and surrounds. Sorta leaves one for the 2nd center.
The non-sigs normally go for $1000 +/- on ebay. The Sig's for $1700 to $2100. I've not watched Audiogon and other outlets for them.More later,

Even the BIN is not bad on this one... considering it's a series II
Seller is a little light feedback-wise however...

A suggestion ...
For the GC II's either signature or not, get the Architectural ( 17" ) model if you can find one as they have some slightly different, arguably better circuitry and internal configuration than the 19".
