Kahoot

Anyone else find themselves registered for no reason with Kahoot? I just received an email thanking me for joining Kahoot, which I never did. It appears to be another Vanilla site, so I am wondering if they are taking users from here, and signing them up.

I just deleted my account, but it does bug me that a site exists that anyone can sign anyone else for with no verification.

No, hasn't happened to me. And I don't think Polk would do anything like that.

On the other hand, anyone could sign you up for any message board, all they need is your email. They didn't have any of your personal info did they?

Although if it was using the same password as here, I would be concerned about malware, or a keylogger.

I had to go there and request my password so I could log-in and delete my account. When asked for a reason why I let them know that accepting an email address without authentication is not kosher. It looked like a Vanilla site, so I was wondering if Vanilla is being sneaky, along with being incompetent.
