After I left the audio biz in the early 90s I lost track as to what was what at Polk. I was happy with my my 10s and felt no need to change I know the LS 90 and LS 70 were top dogs in the early to mid 90s (tried both and thought the 70 was much better balanced) Then in 2001 or so the LSI 15/25 were top of the line What were the top of the line Polk speakers for 2 CHANNEL listening in the late 90s??

I had a pair of the LS 90's and as mint as they were, I couldn't get past the crappy laminate covering.

The black ash veneer on my 90's looks pretty good IMO...

90's huh....weren't the RT's cream of the crop then ? Back then, everything was about HT, and was selling like hotcakes. SRT's was their top dog for along time, probably still is, but I liked the 1.2's better for music. Polk really didn't try getting back into 2 channel until the start of the LSI series, and now LSIM's.HT SYSTEM-
