Bryston/Axiom Question

I just saw a video on Ytube showing the assembly of a Bryston A2 speaker and then a few minutes later found a video of the assembly of a Axiom M80. It was almost the same video?!?!
I've always equated Bryston as some of the best gear available (expensive but justifiable.)
I don't get the business model of Bryston putting out just another (good) speaker. Axiom has a good rep, but nothing approaching Bryston's.
Does this make sense to anyone; am I missing something? If Bryston had partnered with PMC or bought out Salk (I know neither are located near Bryston, but for arguments sake) it would make sense.
