For those that have been keeping up, I'm not very happy with Carver gear these days.

I have two broke Carvers, one M1.0-t and one TFM-42 (that the seller (lyin' ****!) guaranteed not to be DOA, but was DOA and won't take back) that do not work.

The M1.0-t went just nasty on me with feedback. The TFM-42 has a dead left and the right side seems "thin."

I'd like $200 + shipping for the pair or $125 + shipping each. Another member has spoken for them, but I haven't heard from him in a while. If nothing happens from him by Friday, I'll start going down the list, if there is one. :confused:Feel free to shoot me an e-mail if you have any concerns. I'm in Tucson, AZ 85741 for shipping info.

    If that member was TroyD, he is in Jersey for some training...and may not have alot of internet access.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Wes if you paid with paypal maybe they can help you out. Im interested in the 42 but I feel uneasy not knowing whats wrong with it. Would you consider less and a promise if it cost less than a hundred to fix Ill send you the difference?

    Nope, not me......I'm GOOD on Carver amps.

    Just a note though....especially on the 42, even if you put 200 in repairs, you STILL have a great amp on the cheap.

    Unless you paid almost $400 for a bllshit "guaranteed not to be DOA" amp in the first place. :mad:
