LSi9 - low level listening?

Hey folks.
Just wondering how the LSi9 does at low volume levels? I do like to listen quietly, in my smallish room, and I'm curious to know how the LSi9's would do when played in this way. Do they need some more serious power going through them to bring them to life?

They really like power but the 7's sound better at low vols...My New Year's resolution is 3840 × 2160

I've got plenty of power and current, so I am not worried there.
Are you saying the 7's need plenty of power or the 9's? I figured they both did.

The 7's are easy to drive compared to the 9's I have had them (7's) connected to my 5 watt tube amp in a small room and they were fine.My New Year's resolution is 3840 × 2160

So the extra bass of the second driver doesn't really add much until higher listening levels?

I think it it adds bass regardless.

Which would make you think the 9 would do better at low volumes. All else being the same.

Erik, any speaker that is capable of lower bass will produce lower bass at any volume level.Political Correctness'.........defined
