I bought polk bookshelf speakers a year ago and hooked them up to an ancient pioneer receiver. Almost immediately one began to sound like to low end was blown. I ignored this as we never listen to them very loud. Now that one is much worse and the other one is beginning to sound the same. Whats up with that?- frankenhez

You have a problem! That's what's up with that. I wouldn't rush out to get a new pair of speaks until I eliminated that "ancient" Pioneer receiver from the suspect list. Then come back to the forum with a little more info.

have Polk send you a new driver. Easy fix.
