4 Shot Boom Mic

So, I bought the 4 Shot thinking I read that the mic issue was solved. However, my friends can't hear me in chat. I have registered my headset, is it still possible to get the boom mic?

i didn't realize the mic was having issues but i purchased the headset and i'm also wandering about the boom mic that was being offered

Same here. Saw them, read the reviews on most of the major sites which stated the issue was resolved. Everyone says I sound like I'm talking into a tin can from across the room.

Hello,
Contact Polk's CS department at: 1-800-377-7655 and have the headphone's serial number handy when calling.
They should have the boom mics available within 7 to 10 days.

Unfortunately I received the Boom Mic and the sound is still very muffled and quiet.

Hopefully you guys have some better luck with this headset.
