Hello
Who has ever been able to compare TSi300 vs a RTi A5?
If someone ever upgraded from the TSi line to the RTi A5, that would be nice to know how big the improvement was....
RTiA5 + CSiA4 + Jamo SW410E
Yamaha TSR-700 (equivalent to RX V6A)
No surround...yet

I auditioned both. Didn't think twice, the rite line is that much better. Have the RTIA5's, and I'm happy with them.

Between the 2, get the 5's.
  • Thanks
Were you able to compare RTi A5 vs RTi A7?

First off what AVR do you have? If you have a sub then the A5's would be perfect, if I had the AVR and Amp then what I have now I would of got the A9s if you have an AVR with pre outs so you can add a Amp get the A5's or A9s at the price you can get them for. You Better make up your mind Friday will be here before you know it. I have the A5's and a external amp hooked up and dual subs they sound sweet together.

A5's plus a good sub (now or later) over the TSi's. Easy decision.

The TSi/Monitor/TSx line are kinda like buying generic Oakleys when you really want the real thing (RTi's). They "look" kinda close but one is actually MUCH better than the other in terms of performance.

My current AVR is a Pioneer VSX920, but I will upgrade as soon as possible (I would like to get a Marantz)
I would love to get the RTI A9, but they are too big
This is why I'm thinking RTi A5 vs RTi A7
I do also have a sub (an old JAMO, maybe not the best one, but still.....I have something)

I know, I know...But the problem is the return policy when purchase is made thru Friends and Family: you pay the return shipping cost + some restocking fees !!!!

Yes. Demoed both using mid range AVR, can't remember which one though. I liked the 5's better, better mid range.

It was more than likely the 7's were just under powered. If you just want to run an AVR in your system, get the A5's. If you get the A7's, plan on an amp on the future.

Dude, you won't be shipping them back. Your getting half off, if that's not enough then this hobby of audio may not be your cup of tea. lol

I know, 50% off is awesome....This is why I want to make the right choice, and not pick something just because price is good !!!
For now, I'm thinking going for the A5

  • Ok, i will go with the RTi A5....
Which center will be best: csi3, csia4 or csia6? Looks like people are saying to go with the a6 but it's HUGE.....and more money. Is it really worth it?

Is it worth it ? Uh...yeah. Do you need it though is the question. Do you have the space for it is another.
