Doug sells those in his DIY section for raw cable at a cheaper price

Yes I knew that but, Doug does not or did not carry the black jacketed Canare I was just offering a choice as I had already listed DC in my prior post. Have inc. is the cheapest price besides Doug also give a discount to Polk members also.

A nice phone call to Doug and some Furez cable is on its way. Doug was so easy to work with and very cool guy to boot.
Now does anybody have a clue on how to rip out the crap wire the builder put in for my in ceiling speakers? I don't want to have to replace drywall. When I was a kid my parents told me to turn it down. Now I'm an adult and my kids tell me to turn it down.

They actually did build something to code in this house, staples on the in-wall speaker wire. It is 16AWG Arrow wire, I did give it a few good yanks but no go. I will have to wait for the wife to go on a trip next year and maybe explore a bit with a few small holesWhen I was a kid my parents told me to turn it down. Why not just leave the old wire there?
