    Yes I knew that but, Doug does not or did not carry the black jacketed Canare I was just offering a choice as I had already listed DC in my prior post. Have inc. is the cheapest price besides Doug also give a discount to Polk members also.

    I like these, $62 to do my front 3 is nice.

    ....and you can use some extra bare wire to replace those stock jumpers on the speakers.

    A nice phone call to Doug and some Furez cable is on its way. Doug was so easy to work with and very cool guy to boot.

    Now does anybody have a clue on how to rip out the crap wire the builder put in for my in ceiling speakers? I don't want to have to replace drywall.

    They actually did build something to code in this house, staples on the in-wall speaker wire. It is 16AWG Arrow wire, I did give it a few good yanks but no go. I will have to wait for the wife to go on a trip next year and maybe explore a bit with a few small holes

    Why not just leave the old wire there?
