Polk and Eosone?

Does anyone know the real deal with the Polk and Eosone ties back when they were sold at Best Buy? I have the Sub/Sat system and actually think it sounds as good, if not better, than the Polk 6700 Sub/Sat system. Did Polk actually produce this line and how is it supposed to compare to the Polk line? I believe the Eosone line was more expensive than the comparable Polks. What was the deal? Thanks, Jeff

"Hi guys, the Eosone name was manufactured for the Best Buy Market. Around that time we had signed on Circuit City as a customer and if we had Best Buy that would make a conflict of interest. So, there was Eosone, only for Best Buy, eventually Best Buy decided not to carry the Eosone line and it was discontinued."

Then why in the heck do they still have a website up? From what I can tell it serves no benefit to anyone.

I saw that response doing a search. How did Polk compare them to there own line of speakers? Was it supposed to be direct competition?

It was discussed prior to the 'new' forum as we see here, for the life of me I can't remember one way or the other.
