I bought one of these from a Sony Family Center, it a "store" for Sony employees and retirees (sp?) this is a great SACD/DVD/CD player, I am enjoying SACD and the build quality is pretty good as well. When Sony shipped it to me, they shipped 2 of them, GREAT, but they charged me for both of them, not so great. I can return the one to the store for credit, but thought I would pass along a good deal if anyone here is interested. I can get a full refund, so don't bother offering me less than I paid for it, I paid 367.00 and you will have to pay shipping to you. This is a deal that is limited to say Friday before noon, if nobody wants it by then, I am returning it to get it off my credit card.
This is a factory fresh and sealed A stock unit (not a B-stock refurbished unit) it comes with the full 5 year Sony warranty, now the only "problem" is you have to take it or ship it to a service center for repairs if anything ever goes wrong with it since you didn't buy it at a retail store, understand?

2. Is the implication here that you have access to new factory warranteed Sony gear at greatly reduced prices ? and if so are you taking orders ? ... LOL, sorry but I couldn't resist at least asking ...

That is an unheard of deal, on a fine multi-disc player. Insanity would be the only reason you would not buy this, if you need such an animal.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I think it only comes in silver, the one I am using is silver.

However if from time to time Hoosier would entertain scoring Sony stuff for the Polk folk this could be very interesting. -

Re: PW ... No problem ... The corresponding userid was silly to pick since it no longer fits ... At the time I thought I'd have one or two posts here and be long gone, but it's a fun place.

Regarding your access to Sony gear, I don't want to put you in a tough place, but it would good for us to know if this is something you'd be willing to deal with or not and if not then that's fine.
