Rti12's on the way, quick question
I'm going to replacing my rt16's with a new pair of rti12's and the question is, would it be best to bi-amp them since most are saying they require a lot of power. I'm using a Yamaha rxa2000. Does biamping the front mains make much of a difference in HT use which I use more than music, 80%. With the rxa2000 I can sacrifice the back rear surrounds to biamp the front mains and still have a 5.2 set up with front presence. Not to many movies produced in 7.2 anyway. thanks in advance

Since all the channels are drawing from one power supply, I doubt there will be any significant difference. Time to save up for a good 2 channel amp to power the front L & R.
