Audiogon members....I can't for the life of me remember my password and Audiogon is slow as a snail in sending me resetting info. Can one of you guys sign on and send this dude a message that I want his Reality IC's.

    I sent the following message to the seller on Audiogon:

    "A friend of mine on the Polk Forum wants to purchase these cables, but he forgot his Audiogon password and is having trouble getting the link from Audiogon to reset it. He asked that a member of Club Polk send you this information.

    You should hear from him soon."

    Hmmm! I'm not sure I remember my PSWRD either? Shows you how LONG it's been since I logged onto that site as a member!

    I got the notices on their new beefed up security though.

    Thanks guys, one message should be enough. It's been so long since I bought something on there, heck if I can remember. I've been asking them to send me a new password and process for re-setting for a month now with no response. I can't log in as a new user either because my email and user name have been taken.....no sh$t Sherlock....unbelievable.

    I tried to log on to Audiogon Saturday, and my password was accepted. I accessed my account information, notifications, etc.

    Then I tried to post on a thread, and I kept getting an error message that my user ID and password were a mismatch -- even though I had already logged on and accessed my account information.

    So, I logged off and on, again. Tried to put the same post on the same thread with same result.

    So, I changed my password, was asked to choose a security question and provide an answer. I did.

    Logged off and logged on again and tried to post on the thread. Same result -- ID and password mismatched.

    Today, when sending the message to the seller of the cables tonyb wants, I had no problem. However, I did not try to post on a thread.

    Seems that Club Polk is not the only newly "improved" forum with problems.
