On a recent to trip to the tropics, (MN) I was perusing a high end stereo store in the Duluth area when I came across this gem, a 'Bose 901 Special Edition Compact Disc'. (C) 1990.
It was actually a thrift store near Walmart.
I chuckled when I read the description and forked over the $1.99 they wanted for it in case there was a track on it that I liked.
If anyone has a set of Bose speakers, remembering that this for the 901's specifically, you are welcome to it. If you don't have the 901's your set may not be up to snuff for the dynamics that this CD presents. You have been forewarned and I will not be responsible for any damages incurred from playing it on inferior speakers.
It contains 9 tracks of varying types of music, mostly cra* that I don't listen to. (Classical)
Let me know if you want it, and I will mail it to you via pony express. US only, sorry to all my European friends.
It is in great shape with no scratches, the case is complete and is not cracked. I would rate it a strong 8/10 on the Audiogon scale, but will stop short of saying it is suitable for framing.

I would sell it but it clearly states that it is for promotion only and not for sale!!!

    I would have thought with the approaching holidays, someone would have wanted this as a stocking stuffer, or at the very least a coaster for someones cold beverage.

    If it would work with 301s, series IIIs or Vs I would be interested, you must be from Winnipeg, referring to the Duluth area as the tropics, I was just in the Bemidji area a week and a half ago and it was far from tropical >:)

    There are a couple that own 901s let's see if they respond (Westmassguy) for one, if nobody that owns 901s responds I would give it a shot on my series III 301s, YEP you have the right to consider Duluth being tropical compared to your neck of the woods Nathan!

    Hey Nathan showed up today thanks sounds good on my 2B's will bust out the 301s and hook em up to one of my amps and give it a listen this weekend. Passed on a good deal on some 901s a while back for 400 they were in great shape with the stands and equalizer.
