Anthem Statement M1 monoblock power amplifiers

Well for those who dont like me also know that I dont really like ICE amps. With that being said it still could not hold back the audiophile curiosity that plagued me like a disease when I saw these for sale so I wrote a check and now here they are.
If anyone does not know what ice amps sound like then its not a bad thing. Ice amps have the least amount of distortion from the amps I have had in my room for a listen. They give off this super transparent sound that are great for revealing hidden background nuances that can be veiled by many other amps. I have had the W4S sx1000 just blowing my Anthem MCA 5 channel amp away and thats known for having a great top end so its only when you side by side rather than reading up that you really get to tell what is what.
I amp going to hook these up with some really good ic's and ac's to maximize the potential outcome. I have hooked them up to a little pair of bookshelf speakers so far and I can say they do not sound similar to the W4S at all but it still has the magic traits so its going to be interesting or maybe not?

If you never knew the M1 is a 1000W or 2000W (into 8 or 4 ohms) monoblock amplifier. That pic is kinda dull unlike the Music I am hearing now as I type so I will add another pic.

My local Anthem dealer has a pair of these running some high end Paradigms in their shop.
My *only* complaint about them is that Anthem tends to shove their statement pieces into visually unappealing containers."Some people find it easier to be conceited rather than correct."
