    That a neon sign ? Once the gas is gone in those things their toast, or if the bulb breaks....toast.

    I know there are places that repair them, but they are pretty costly to do so. Unless the sign has some collectors value to it, it wouldn't be worth it.

    Reason is no 2 neon signs are alike, all the tubing is custom made for that particular sign....or however many signs they made. That's why unless the sign has some worth, it would cost less to buy a new one.

    How about snaking an LED rope light in there instead. Im not sure it will look right but I don't think it would hurt to try.

    That doesn't look like a custom neon bulb, more like a commercial FL.

    I would also find an LED replacement for it. The power supply should be pretty easy to work on, and LED lighting is coming way down in price.

    Gadzooks! Didn't know I had this many response's to my post! No email notification to me at all. Will have to check that.

    Yeah, a used one is around $50 from ebay so not worth that much. The LED rope light sounds like a good idea for sure but will be asking further questions about that has I have zero DIY skills, especially when it concerns electricity :)
