Forum peformance "issue"/question -- URL parsing?

Options
Hello:

Not sure this is the right place for this, but... why not give it a go, thought I. :- )

When the new forum went live, any URL (web site link) was automatically parsed and put within "URL" and "/URL" tags to become a hyper link.

This automatic parsing no longer seems to occur.

Is this a glitch or was the paring disabled for a reason?

(of course, it's still possible to manually insert the "URL" tag, or to use the "Url" button (looks like chain links) above the text entry box for a post... but I am very lazy and appreciated having it done for me)

For example:
Here I'll type a URL:
http://icouldbeahero.blogspot.com

Here I'll use the "Url" button:

icouldbeahero.blogspot.com

I've noticed posts from others with URLs that were not in the form of links, so I am pretty sure it's not just me! :- P

Thanks very much for your attention.

well -- it changed. That's the odd part.

FYI, I used to work for those Little Blue Pill guys...well, they bought the company I worked for (and I stayed with 'em for a couple of years).
