Polk 4shot xbox one gaming headset

I just purchased this headset and registered it on your website. My retractable microphone does not work at all (i read a few reviews that said it was muffled, but none that says it doesnt work). My controller is up to date, i updated it when i got the headset. I also was under the impression that they would be shipped at this point with the new boom Mic. I did not recieve one, how do i go about that process?
