Just curious on which companies also make a 80-90,000 dollar speaker...

My Dad and I want to hear.....

JM Lab Grande Utopia
Wilson Audio X-1
Avalon Sentinel(sp)
Who else makes a near comparable speaker for around the same price?

Just curious...

    Sid,

I like my tunes as well as the next guy ... and believe it or not I could write check for a set of speakers like that and not have it phase my brokerage accounts all that much ... but I'm not going to ... so in that regard I could care less.

    Sid,

Fine ... have at it ... a couple more hours of listening at the levels you mentioned and neither of you will be able to tell the difference between a good set of speakers and a rhino in heat ...

Like PW said, listening at those levels you are going deaf... (Sustained beyond 85dB according to OSHA)

I RARELY listen to music for 2 hours at a time.........

heck, I dont even listen at 100 for a hour....continuously

You would have to listen to music at 85db continuously for 16 hours to lose hearing......

BTW, that was posted by PJdami a while back in a thread posted by me called the neighbors love me......

Uh, it's a bit cummulative since I doubt your giving yourself enogh time to "heal" in between sessions (based on the number of reviews and comments). It's not like you can do that to your ears, rest ten minutes and the clock starts over.

I hope, for your sake, that when you get your sub, you turn the total volume down a bit since you'll still be able to feal the music.

Sid, don't you have some homework to do or something?

Maybe build a model car? Ride a bike? Experiment with gateway drugs? Monkey around with your privates? SOMETHING?
