For Sale - Parasound HCA-750A - $175 Shipped and Paypaled

Title says it all. This is a great little amp, sounded really nice with some def tech sm350s I had running in the bedroom rig. I got some significantly less efficient speakers in there, so I upgraded to something with a little more juice. But make no bones about it, this is a great little warm sounding amp.

Its in very presentable condition, but not mint by any means. Functions great, comes with a generic power cord. The only thing to note functionally is that the volume pots needs a little deoxit. I used it with a receiver, so I just turn the volume all the way up and its no problem, but it may be something the future owner wants to address, then again maybe not.

One note about the pics - the feet are mismatched in the pics, but I replaced the two black feet with original parasound gol4n257j2bim9m.jpg
oes9turzx3c1.jpg
d trimmed feet, so you are getting four matching feet.

This is already packed up in a really sturdy box with plenty of cushion. It will arrive to your door in the same condition it left me.

I will ship FedEx ground to your door. If you want to send paypal gift that would be appreciated, but if not I will cover the fees.

Thanks and let me know if you have any questions.khh04tpbamdj.jpg

Since the pics split up the text, just to be clear, the amp works and sounds great, and it will come to you with four matching original gold parasound feet.

Yes you CAN run this in mono, although most people advise against it. Of course I want you to buy my amp, but I would do my research first on running it mono.

I'd run it in what they call "single ended stereo" instead... basically just one one channel of it and dont mess with a mono switch (if it has one).

I may look at doing that with the 1200ii I have for my Infinity RS-II's as some point as they say its better than making it a monoblock.

  • Hmm. Never heard of that. It is kinda difficult to find stuff about mono bridging for a center channel. Maybe I am not asking the right question while googling lol.

I just figured Since it would work until I find and have enough money to get the parasound 2205.

Go for it, I had this amp for my RTA 11TL's and it made em sing with no problems.

Yes go for it! Basically the distortion gets higher as a monoblock. I would do what Dan is saying and just use one channel. That cs-350 isn't hard to drive and would come alive with this amp. I used a similar wattage but inferior amp in this way (just one channel) on my cs-400i and it sounded awesome! Really opened it up compared to just the receiver...

I think its because there are about 5 active members left on the forum. And I haven't been very active myself so I can't complain. It doesn't really have anything to do with the layout, just a busy time of life.

I am in conversation with one member who has first dibs, and if he turns it down its going on the 'gon.

Why buy from the bay when you have a Polkie you can trust? By the time the auction ends, you'll end up paying at least what he is asking, and you are buying from someone who knows how to pack.

Are you going to buy it? Rooftop has had it on here long enough for any member above 100 posts to snag it. Who has?

Remember, in the end, this is a service for our members. If nobody here is going to buy it that isn't "breaking the rules", then who are we to stop a good member from getting money in his pocket? That is RT's decision and his decision alone.

For what its worth, I support the 100 post rule. However, now that its open for all to see, I don't care who buys it as long as our contributing members have the opportunity to snag it first.

OK, I'll give you that. I just don't think a google search should give people access to the FM. Just my .02.
