The store of Pawn Stars tv fame and I had to ask them. In all the years I never and mean never saw a piece of high end audio gear either sitting on a shelf or brought in. In all actuality the only audio device was an antique crank victrola. So I called the place and asked. The guy said nothing in the store at all if by chance a piece came in they would immediately put it on their E-Bay site. I found that a bit weird, it looks like they sell more merch and schlock then anything else .

Frankly, Picasso draws more eyes in than an HK Citation XXP Pre and Amp.
Or a Harley will bring more traffic through the door than say a D'Agostino Momentum Pre...
More interest would be generated in seeing Billy the Kid's Colt 1873 than seeing a pristine JBL Paragon.
Point is, we are a niche market and while local small potatoes pawn shops will move a lot of audio gear in and out, the truly high dollar shops make their bread and butter money on the large margin items."Some people find it easier to be conceited rather than correct."
