having headphone issue

After getting the Nikko 6065 receiver I can't blast it because of my neighbors work habbits. So I decided to get a set of headphones. I have 2 pairs 1 generic and 1 Shure both not so good. I saw a set that I used to own in my youth called Super-X made in Yonkers. I loved them they were tight and bit heavy and sweaty in the summer but I still like them. Anyway I saw a pair bought them for $12 on EB and free shipping the deal was done. I was notified that the seller's kid stepped on them before mailing and were ruined and returned my cash. She said would you accept a free pair just for the inconvience. Sh%t yeah send them. So I got a pair of Japanese Lebo-TA-116 model.These came w/ slide balance switches which were very scratchy,I deoxed them, ng so I cut them out and made a splice box out of a telco jack. Finally getting the real problem there is one swivel thumb screw missing and I checked the shipping box and inards 4 x. No such thumb screw. I already called Vintage Electronics Bob there said he had no such part. Bent the thing to stay set but no that doesn't work. I need this tiny thumb screw. Any ideas???? Next will try a jewler.

Take them to the hardware store, find out what size thread you need, then start searching the world wide web for similar sized bolts. Replace all 4 if needed to match.

Dudes you don't understand this is the smallest threaded post in history. There is nothing else wrong w/ the h/phs and do not desevere the curb. Like I said if none of you in your work shops, garages, tool boxes don't have it then my only hope would be a jeweler it's that small. I tried out tof the box ideas none took. I just do not want that free band to destroy the ear cup.
