Have you considered giving the Parasound P5 a try ? Rick88 thinks it matches well with BK.

Yes, I had the P3 and it was a really great match, but keep leaning towards an integrated, and I keep hearing such great things about Musical Fidelity and Polk.2 ChannelTurntable - VPI Classic 2/Ortofon 2M BlueAmplification - Rogue Audio Cronus Magnum II, Parks Audio Budgie PhonoSpeakers - GoldenEar Triton 17.2 Home TheaterDenon AVR-X3300W; Rotel RMB-1066; Klipsch RP-280F's, Klipsch RP-450C, Polk FXi3's, Polk RC60i; Dual SVS PB 2000's; BenQ HT2050; Elite Screens 120"Man CaveTurntable - Pro-Ject 2.9 Wood/Grado GoldAmplification - Dared SL2000a, McCormack DNA 0.5 DeluxeCD: Cambridge AudioSpeakers - Wharfedale Linton 85th Anniversary; LSiM 703; SDA 2A

Then I would say go for an A5. If you don't like it, you could easily flip it for little to no loss.
As far as the M3 is concerned, it's all you'd need for LSIM bookies....unless you plan on getting harder to drive speakers in the near future. Plus....how much low bass do you really expect from a bookie ? That's what subwoofers are for in that scenario. That's a nice price in that link for the demo M3 too.HT SYSTEM-

Tony, I have the 705 floorstanders
I do understand that they are not as difficult to drive as the LSi series, and that M3 might be enough, but I think I like the A5 suggestions.2 ChannelTurntable - VPI Classic 2/Ortofon 2M BlueAmplification - Rogue Audio Cronus Magnum II, Parks Audio Budgie PhonoSpeakers - GoldenEar Triton 17.2 Home TheaterDenon AVR-X3300W; Rotel RMB-1066; Klipsch RP-280F's, Klipsch RP-450C, Polk FXi3's, Polk RC60i; Dual SVS PB 2000's; BenQ HT2050; Elite Screens 120"Man CaveTurntable - Pro-Ject 2.9 Wood/Grado GoldAmplification - Dared SL2000a, McCormack DNA 0.5 DeluxeCD: Cambridge AudioSpeakers - Wharfedale Linton 85th Anniversary; LSiM 703; SDA 2A -
Ooops, my mistake pal. Floorstanders....and if you like to test that volume dial, then the A5 is your huckleberry.
I know your drooling over the M6 integrated, but here's a M6 pre in your range.

This has slightly more balls than the M3 but is the older 3.2 integrated, no slouch by any means and only 800 bones.

I saw that one also voltz. Out of my price range either way but from what I've found The SI edition that just came out adds an 'excellent' phono stage and USB dac to the unit. That's why they cost a bit more.
Seems the MF integrateds in my price range with my requirements don't come up much so I'll just have to be patient and keep my eyes open.2 ChannelTurntable - VPI Classic 2/Ortofon 2M BlueAmplification - Rogue Audio Cronus Magnum II, Parks Audio Budgie PhonoSpeakers - GoldenEar Triton 17.2 Home TheaterDenon AVR-X3300W; Rotel RMB-1066; Klipsch RP-280F's, Klipsch RP-450C, Polk FXi3's, Polk RC60i; Dual SVS PB 2000's; BenQ HT2050; Elite Screens 120"Man CaveTurntable - Pro-Ject 2.9 Wood/Grado GoldAmplification - Dared SL2000a, McCormack DNA 0.5 DeluxeCD: Cambridge AudioSpeakers - Wharfedale Linton 85th Anniversary; LSiM 703; SDA 2A -

Probably no secret I'm a big fan of the MF sound, as is many others here including F1NUT. There's something about it that draws you into the performance. While not being the most detailed of sound, it has a musicality and flow that's appealing to a variety of ears. Hard not to like. Once you spend some time with one, your hooked.
Is there better out there ? Of course there is...but not at these prices on the used market. As far as integrateds go, you'd be hard pressed to do better for the price. Very nice score there....and a classic example of the "English sound".HT SYSTEM-

@hochpt21, have to ask, why not mount the TV on the fireplace above the mantel?
Otherwise VERY nice looking setup. One of these days I may need to try one of these integrateds out..."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -

I almost did, but it is very high up and would almost be touching the ceiling. I even had a guy come over and try to figure out how to mount it to the bricks/rocks.
I think eventually, I'll try to lower the mantle and try it then. I'm ok with the fireplace being covered up for now, because it is a really ugly brass/gold color. Which is something else I might change down the road.
