Vintage CD Players

So I have a few vintage CD players and I need to decide what to keep and what to let go.
Hopefully you can help me decide on what my best option is.
Please give me your feedback if you have heard or own any of these.

Sony CDP-591
Onkyo DX-2500
DBX DX5

It's really hard to call old CDPs "vintage" because of all the Tech that's come after the earlier models.

Personally, I've never heard the DBX, but they get good reviews.

Sonys, I have and have had more than a few of those. They sound SHRILL on anything but vintage gear. I listed a vintage system yesterday that had a Sony in it. It punches way above what it should but that's because the ADS speakers and old JVC receiver warm the SXXT out of it! Currently spinning some Barry White on it!

Onkyos are passable as well. I find the old Sonys are tough to KILL. I bought mine used for $9!

In all probability you'd be better off with a new mid-level Marantz CDP, though.

I do have some newer Cambridge Audio and NAD players as well, just wondering if I would be making a mistake leaving any of these go.

I have some trusty old HK & Sony cd players & they are just unstopable keepers  try/research others & see how you like them & make the call after. Thats what i did when i bought my new cd player. Then I decided to keep my old ones for back ups-or-if someone needs one i got em

IMHO....both of those players are miles ahead of what your wishing to let go. Keep those 2 and let everything else go to that cdp graveyard in the sky.
