Advice needed

Right now I am running a Marantz SR5006 with a NAD power amp to my mains. A fellow co worker has listened to the setup and wants to buy the amp and receiver. I found a good deal on a Pioneer elite SC-05. Would that make a good replacement? Does the SC-05 have any issue with HD signal from my media pc or TV? Any thoughts or input welcomed. Looking to pull the trigger ASAP if it is a noticeable upgrade. Thanks in advance!

    This may not be helpful or even very relevant, but I had better sound with my SC-05 and NAD amp than with my SC-05 alone. Amp was a NAD T-955 so not sure how that compares to yours.

    I don't think you'd have any issues related to the HD signal with the SC-05.

    The NAD amp I'm using is the Power Envelope 2100 I believe. Thanks for the input!
