How much of an upgrade are the Sonus Faber Concerto Grand Piano speakers?

Just finished comparing Sonus Faber GP against my favorite Boston A400's in the upstairs 12x12 room.
Winner: Sonus.
What I like on the Sonus is great separation and refined music.
A400's are pretty nice but they sound slightly noisy, lack some instrument separation compared to Sonus.
Also, vocals and instruments in Sonus are more easy/open in the ears.
A400's sound big and have great soundstage.
Highs sound similar tonally in both (maybe because both are SEAS tweeters) but Sonus sounds more detailed and cleaner.
Sonus needs a sub to compare in the low end but I have too many subs to work with so that's not a problem. They do have great bass for one driver and can listen by themselves without a sub perfectly fine but for comparison against A400's, need a sub.
Next, bring A400 down in the living room and compare against the Vandersteen 3A's.

Looks like you decided to move the Sonus along?"Some people find it easier to be conceited rather than correct."

If you are still on the hunt for grill cloth, I highly recommend giving Magnepan a call. The cloth they use on the MG20.7's is both luxurious to look at and acoustically invisible. The Gear... House repairs, job, travel, car repairs, tax and then got audited for 2012 tax etc... oh and the time with baby keeping me busy so Sonus are upstairs in the guest room.
They are setup and I listen to every now and then but making pretty needs to wait.

There is a pair of the Concerto Grands on A-Gon in Broomfield. Didn't know where in the Denver area you were and they have new tweeters as well as the bases...

There was another ad in the same area since even before I got mine.
This looks a new ad as the old one was from one of the retailers in the area with better setup pictures.
The tweeters are replacements without the Sonus Faber logo and it has the spikes but I don't see stone bases in the pictures.

I'm just glad it isn't you. Hehe. I wouldn't mind picking up the pair listed with the matching Solo center...but I need to reel in my audio spending after deciding on a cartridge for my TT hehe."Some people find it easier to be conceited rather than correct."

This picture is classic. I'd do it if I thought I could get away with it!
AFA Klipsch. They worked for me for HT as well. I eventually picked
up so many vintage speakers, I sold them off.I don't know about YOU but *I* am glad to see you narrowing things down a bit. I always cringed when you added another pair of speakers to the "wall of sound" you had going on there for a while.
Don't get me wrong, it was aesthetically fun but sonically, it drove me bonkers (I am speaking metaphorically as I had never heard your system in that state LOL)
You my friend, sound just like my wife.
I'm not totally narrowing but relocating.
Yes, I like clean look as well. Now flooring is almost done and I have hardwood there, I want to make the living room at least presentable when guests come.
Other speakers are crammed in the guest room and basement where she (wifey) doesn't mind as much.
Funny thing is she thinks Vandersteens are better but still wants Boston A400's in there as they can be pressed against the wall, flat, taking almost no space in the room.
Even I feel crowdy with this picture.
Remember, it's the same wall.
Even worse:

The KLF was not bad at all.
I still have reference series for HT and they are great for that.
