Dared Remote...

I recently moved a Dared sl-2000a into my main rig in the living room.
The other day, my wife picked the remote up off the table and said "what is this stupid little thing I keep picking up and putting in the drawer?" I said, "that's the remote for the tube amp." She said, "that's a remote? Looks like a keychain....shouldn't the remote look like a normal one?"
I said, "You're right, babe. I'll buy a new amp with a regular remote."
She stopped....I won.
Or did I?

I think you won.
Plus you managed to throw out a comment that will ensure that she never complains about it again, while reserving the argument down the road that a new pre will come with a better remote.
