Didn't there used to be an SDA deal of the day thread? This new forum has me very confused. Anyway, here are some 2B studios available in Tulsa if anyone is in the market:

    I wonder how much they will end up going for? Looks like you have to bid $202.50, to stay in the game. I have never seen black ones before. I got my Studio 2Bs for $200 it was a Sunday morning they were on craigslist New listing, called the guy up he said he had half a dozen calls already cash only he said one guy said he would come for them on Monday, the following day
    Told him I had the money he said first come first serve.

    To make a long story short that was the fastest I ever got dressed hopped in the Truck and snagged them. I had a s,,t eating grin on my face the drive home. The wife had to hold the door open for me as she said what another pair of speakers!!!

    Sounds like what happened to me with my non-studio 2B's. Guy had them listed for half a day and said he had interested callers trying to schedule for the evening, but lunchtime was more convenient if I could be there in an hour with cash. Luckily there was an ATM on the way. Unfortunately there were some water stains on one of the end caps and cloth was pulling away on the side panels, so they need some cabinet TLC but it wasn't enough to prevent me scooping them up. So my old, trusty black oak vinyl studios have just been trucking along until I can rehab the prettier cabinets.

    Now that I've seen both side by side, I think I actually prefer the cleaner lines on the studio versions. I could do without the black oak... maybe one day if I get some woodworking skills I'll pick up some quality veneer like some have to great effect. Something to look forward to in retirement I guess. :smile:
