    Different for sure. I don't mind the burl, but the tan cloths don't work for me.

    I was thinking of doing mine in burled walnut, or piano black.... this shows both.... I kinda like the look... Not the tan grill cloth tho...

    Man! it's kind of like a train wreck; i can't stop looking at them. definately nice woodwork but just can't decide if it's too much or not. i guess I'm just not used to seeing that much wood on the sides of these models in the past. Which brings me to a point of curiosity; I have wondered in the past if the cutouts beghind the standard grille cloth side panels act as a sort of sound trap or help with diffraction in some way. I am sure they could have just been to lightne the panel but cost wise the labor to cut the holes would have been more than the wood savings, i would think. Iv'e just always thought they may serve a purpose. This pair would not have whatever benefit the cutouts behind grille cloth exibit. I like the Piano Black caps as well but am not sure about the blend between them and the burl sides. I don't really like the bright screws either and definately not the grill cloth, at least with the sides and top and bottom caps. I am sure all the work was done well form someone that would have put that type of effort into them. I'm glad they are not mine, i would not be able to decide what to change on them.
    If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of Progress?!

    Don't like the grill cloth, machine screws, binding post plate is a mess, grill cloth is ugly, and if the cabinets are fully lined with 1" thick sonic barrier no wonder his other speakers won..

    I would like to see pics of the crossovers..

    It will take the right buyer (if there is one) to purchase that train wreck for the asking price..

    Well, coming from someone who has a tough time leaving things the way they came i love them...yes, grill cloth is wrong but everything else is great...I've never been a fan of just black boxes...If you are going to have something that big in a room it might as well be worth looking at...I can't imagine doing all that and not putting the same into the crossover...
