How "Polked" Are You System Show Off

ken brydson has a good idea about getting some hot topics to breath some life into the forum. One thing that I love to do on other forums is thumb through the system picture threads. I have picked up a lot of ideas by seeing other systems.
The system showcase on the old forum sucked, so lets try a thread based showoff. To tag onto Ken's thread about how many speakers you have, Lets see those speakers in their natural habitat.

I recently installed new floors in my home so my system isnt up to its full glory yet. Ill get some shots up soon.

Someone start us off.

Thats a lot of drivers.

It can be anything, old, new, bedroom systems, 2 channel, or HT. If there are drivers or a volume knob anywhere in the photo its GTG. lol

Here is my current setup in basement.
For some reason, I listen to Monitor 7's more than CRS+ as CRS+ sound kinda artificial.
Yes, CRS+ have enough space on their sides and in front of everything else.

Guess what's on top of 7's.

Genesis speakers of some sort -- judging by the tweeters. Genesis I, maybe?

The pair of Genesis speakers I have here are somewhat newer and have a cosmetically (albeit only arguably so) more attractive (and plastic!) tweeter flange :- P

Yes different tweeter, that's why they are not 1's.
They are Genesis 6 with aftermarket crappy car woofers. :grimacing:

I keep a supply of EPI/Genesis "airspring" concave dome tweeters on hand, too... you know, for rainy days...

Certainly a work in process. Need to use a real camera and get the SDA 2.3 but this is my quiet get away space.

But with a beer and cell phone in hand and Zepplin playin' I will post away.

I am all about clean simple and symmetry. Drives my wife crazy that I am so picky about how much space is on each side of my equipment. But when it all comes together, its pretty darn nice.

BTW the stand the blue back lights and accent lights are all from ikea. Such a great place to build custom stuff.

4x 120mm to cool the Carvers and Xbox
1x 250mm mounted inside the stand above the avr

Fans are powered by a 500w modified pc power supply.

I have a panamax 5300 that gets a 12v trigger from the avr. it then repeats that 12v trigger to my panamax m8ht pro that has 4 switched outlets. 1 of which powers that cheapo strip which has accessories that need to switched on and off, such as my chromecast, led lights, CPU power supply for the fans, minidsp, and one or two other things. Its all low current things so it wont cause any issues.

When my avr powers on it causes a chain reaction and turns everything else on. Sounds like fire crackers from all the relays clicking on. lol

In transition, late 2012 maybe. 1.2's and 707's. I was trying to figure out what to do with the 707's I think. The 1.2's were modded shortly thereafter and remain now; 707's went to @Falconcry72 (come back Joey Joe-Joe!). Had his Maggie 1.6's in this space for a while and loved them there. Most of the other gear has been shifted to other locations. Maggies are now in living room to demo vinyl rips.

Sort of - Music Hall 2.1(Tracker) and 5.1(Goldring 1012). Yeah, probably seeing which matched up with the Pro-Ject Tube Box that was there around that time. Using that 5.1 with a DL-103r for ripping now and love it.
