I've had this thing in storage for so long, I almost forgot about it! I ran across it today and came to the realization that I will probably never use it again. The last time I had it in my system was probably in 2007 or 2008. Back then, it worked very well. Playback of my old cassettes (that were probably left in hot cars and in the attic for too long) was lacking, but when I made new recordings on good metal tapes with Dolby S, the sound quality was very impressive. Another thing I liked about it was it was fully functional by remote control. My mid-90's era Sony remotes all controlled play/stop/ff/rev, etc.
I tested today with the only cassette I could find and it played fine through headphones. I have no reason to think it wouldn't work as well today as it did 6 years ago.
Cosmetically, this one is probably a conservative 6/10 (due to deep scratches on the top), but the face is clean and all the LEDs work on the display. Some might rate it higher.
I'd like $50+shipping. I don't have original box or manual. The PDF manual is available from Sony here:

I have absolutely no use for a cassette deck but I'll be damned if I don't want this one simply because it is gorgeous. GLWS Bill.

Sony always made quite good cassette decks -- this one is a three-head deck and was a very, very nice deck (and not inexpensive when new) -- try finding a Dragon for 50 bucks! ;- )

Thanks for the comments guys. I'd probably keep it to make easy vinyl dubs, but my current Integrated Amp doesn't have a Tape OutFor rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...
