New TV Shows - Fall 2014

Anyone watching any of the new shows out? I've tried a few, Gotham and Forever look like they have potential with Gotham likely being the better of the two shows. Scorpion is absolute and complete garbage, that along with Utopia are two of the worst shows I've ever seen.

Hate to hear that about Scorpion, I missed the 1st episode and was going to DVR it this week. Utopia is pretty worthless. I'm glad NCIS is back, and will check out the New Orleans version due to my wife loving the lead guy. I still really like GoldRush and we watch a lot of the cooking contests on foodtv like Chopped. My wife and I tend to watch more of the cable shows on DIY or flipping houses stuff than we do network TV.

Also very glad to have college football back. I don't care for NFL games but love any top 25 college ranked teams playing.

I might check out Gotham. I'll have to look into what it's about first.

It's basically about Gotham and all the characters leading up to the inception of Batman, takes place starting with the death of Bruce Wayne's parents

Watched Gotham last night and thought it was pretty good. Well done, I like the looks of it and that it's on the dark side. I will keep this one in the DVR!

We don't have cable (by choice), so we either Netflix, stream or download shows. So thank you for the description of Gotham. Sounds similar to Hannibal.
  • Just started to watch "How to get away with murder" made it not quite halfway through the Pilot and scrapped that one. Pure garbage, I guess they are getting pretty hard up for new material???

Ken, I have to agree, Spader makes that show awesome. Although I have read he is a little "quirky" to work with.

I somewhat like Forever, but can't see where that series can go. Same old stuff every episode I would imagine. He dies and comes back.

Gotham now has many avenues to take.

I also like Sleepy Hollow, last season for Boardwalk Empire. Ray Donovan is also pretty good. Blacklist is kinda getting long in the tooth, and the new season of American Horror story isn't looking promising. Agents of Shield....getting disappointing.

Be interesting to see this new Constantine series. I liked the movie so we'll see how the series pans out. Also the new Transporter series, but have to admit it's going to be hard to replace the originals.

Gotham? Batman without Batman? lol A show for Diehard fans who just love the detective/crime/mystery genre no matter what. I am NOT one of those. Grew up with the Bat! Have NO interest in this, sorry, don't care how "clever" it might be.

Will probably spawn a whole NEW category of shows:

    Metropolis
    Central City
    Star City

and so on...all without their Heroes? Ohhh... so '80s and '90s Postmodernism. Don't you guys know that PM is currently PASSE?
