Cambridge Audio Owners...Anyone stacking components?

Was told from a tech guy "Don" at Genesis audio in Columbus Ohio it would be fine to stack my stream magic 6 on top pf my 840e pre? I like the idea and it would sure tighten space up nice, so checking to see if anyone here that owns Cambridge gear is stacking any of the components. Thanks

My DacMagic is stacked on top my preamp in my setup. My pre isn't Cambridge but that doesn't really matter

My Jolida CD player has been on top of my Cambridge 840E preamp for the last 2 years without any ill effect. The key is the 840E does NOT have any vents cut into the top of the unit, so your not blocking any air flow putting stuff on top of it. Even after being left on all day my 840E only gets somewhat warm to the touch.
