I need y'all to post up if you are coming by this Saturday, 9/27, so I can start gathering resources and calling in the help to plan and prepare for all you piples!
So please, I'm beggin' you, if you want to come and aren't on the list below, go and post here and say you are coming: http://forum.polkaudio.com/discussion/155407/polkfest-2014-official-info-thread
ALSO:
- If anyone wants to support a raffle and has something they would like to donate to the raffle, PM me and we'll get it straightened out
- If you have a transaction pending and would like to use the Polkfest as a drop-off pickup point, let me know and you can store your stuff at my house instead of in a car trunk or hotel room. I just need to know what to plan for
- If you have stuff you want to "show and tell" or demonstrate and want to ship it ahead of time, PM me for an address.
I have stuff to demo but it's rather lack-luster compared to what some of you yahoos have. So feel free to drag something cool along if you like.
My rigs:
- Carver Amazings (non-platinums) powered by Carver Silver 7t's with an Adcom GFP-750 "Blue Board" pre-amp and a Denon SACD player as a source
- Totem Rainmakers with a Peachtree Nova as amplification and pre-amp with a Micro-Seiki DD-35 turntable as a source
- Polk Audio SDA-2B's with an Onkyo HT receiver as amp/pre-amp and a pile of video game systems as sources. The XBOX 360 has an Internet connection as well
- KLH 20's powere by a Kenwood stereo receiver with a Minetek DVD player as a source
- I also have a myriad of other speakers, newer and older, as well as some unique and some run-of-the mill amps, pre-amps and sources. I have enough power to run lots of different stuff and I can pull apart any of the rigs to swap gear around simply enough but if there's something you are dying to hear or mess around with, bring it along.
Feel free to bring media too. The only thing I don't have is multi-channel since the HT in the basement is still non-existent.
The latest list:
