For sale are a Pioneer Elite VSX-23 and a Parasound HCA 1000a. I'm the original owner of the Pio. Has served me well for three years with no issues. Great shape. Remote and setup mic included. 200.00 plus actual ship. Ill eat paypal.

Parasound works as should, good condition and sounds great. Has 12v trigger. 200.00 plus actual ship. Ill eat paypal.

    Nice deals. Attaching a photo on the new site is actually easier than the old one. Just click on the icon with the paper with the top edge folded over and either drag and drop the file or attach it from there. One of the few improvements IMO...

    I was away Friday when the Parasound arrived, but I finally got a chance to open it up this afternoon. Thanks deronb1 for the excellent deal, safe packing, rrrappid transit, and great comm. Won't hesitate a second to deal with in the future. So +1 on the Pretend Sales Rating Thingie.

    I own another 1000 that powers RTi12's in the bedroom HT, but I guess I just never tried it on a 2-channel rig 'cause... dayum! I had no idea. This thing really surprised me.

    I've been trying to put together a rig to demo vinyl rips. So far I've got: SB Touch > Arcam rDac > Dared sl2000 > Sunfire 300x2 > Maggie 1.6qr. But I recently simplified my office rig by removing the Revel M22 bookshelf speakers and wanted to try them in the new demo space for music that isn't best-suited for the Maggies. So I hooked up the Parasound to the second set of Dared outputs and, WOW, it sounds fantastic. The amp allowed the Revels to really do their thing - balanced, sweet sound, a bit of warmth with amazingly deep, detailed bass and incredible imaging, the speakers just disappearing into a clear 3D image of musicians playing in the room. Fleetwood Mac's Albatross was absolutely mesmerizing, beginning to end.

    So thanks, deronb1, for the opportunity to put together a cost-efficient rig that should be enjoyable for a long long while.
