CSi6 (not CSiA6)
I'm looking at a used center channel speaker on my local Craigslist, and the seller insists that the speaker is a CSi6, not a CSiA6. He's posted a stock photo that looks exactly like the CSiA6. I'm in correspondence with him and he keeps insisting that he's got a CSi6, but I can't find any information about a CSi6. I can find lots of information on the CSiA6.
The CSiA4 or A6 are supposed to be good matches to my RTA8TL's, so I was thinking about upgrading my center.
I'd have loved to look up the CSi6 model on the Polk vintage database but they've taken it down (sadness).
Does the CSi6 really exist or is this guy seriously confused or am I just confused?
THANKS!

Well personally I have never seen a "csi6"
Only csi5 and csia6 which are most equal , just minor revisions.
Is the whole front cabinet face silver or black?
Silver for csi5 and black for csia6.
I researched those 2 speakers and am contemplating one of them myself in the furture.
I could be wrong, just have never seen nor read about a "Csi6"

Or just ask him to email/text a picture of the speaker AND the model/serial # sticker. I understand it's craiglist situation AND it gets a little odd When getting information or striking a deal lol.
Hope this helps. Either one are very nice and should be much satisfied with one of them.
Good luck either way.

I used a csia4 before moving it to my bedroom unit. It is a great speaker, the csia6 is better, being bigger, its a great center channel speaker.Emotiva XPA5, Sony ES 5300,: Lsi 15,s LSIC, Monitor 70,s, ( side surrounds) FXI 3,s, (rear surrounds)Micropro4000, Velodyne DEQ 10, Sony 55inchXBR 930D Sony BDP 790 Bedroom rig SonyES 3200 RTIA1,s CSIA4 FXI3,s polk PSW 10 SONY 34inch XBR960:cool:SONY BDP550

So after gently prodding the CL lister, I was finally able to get him to look at the sticker again (once he was home) and confirm that his center is actually a CSI5, which is what I was beginning to strongly suspect.
Any information comparing the CSi5 to the CSiA6 and how that center tonally matches to my RTa8TL's? I'm currently running a CS245i, which is a decent center but I'd like something a bit better but still maintains the tone match to my vintage mains.
