Does anyone know if there's an issue with putting the Monitor 10's on their sides for listening - kinda like studio style?

I would think that you would defeat the purpose of their design if you put them on their side. They were designed to be used upright on a stand, tilted back 6%, and toed in slightly.

The dispersion pattern isn't meant for them to be on their side....if you want a studio style speaker, buy one for that purpose. Right tool for the right job and all that.HT SYSTEM-

Right, I understand they were designed for standing up. What I'm asking is there any damage possible by running then sideways? I have a space issue at the moment.

It should not cause damage laying on their side -
The sound stage may be compromised but it won't harm anything. Try them with the tops toward the center and play with toeing them in. You can try with the tops facing out but I would think the center of the sound stage would be a little empty.Stan
