While trimming trees at his florida home, former golfer greg norman had an accident and the chain saw he was using damn near severed his left wrist, barely missing the artery, he is now recovering.
As someone who severed his left index and middle finger and partial thumb on a table saw on a beautiful day trimming some windows for my mom i had installed, let me say.
You never know, where when or how people, be safe, take nothing for granted.

Hasn't he built an empire now? I'm all for DIY, but you think he'd have someone wielding the chain saw for him.2 ChannelTurntable - VPI Classic 2/Ortofon 2M BlueAmplification - Rogue Audio Cronus Magnum II, Parks Audio Budgie PhonoSpeakers - GoldenEar Triton 17.2 Home TheaterDenon AVR-X3300W; Rotel RMB-1066; Klipsch RP-280F's, Klipsch RP-450C, Polk FXi3's, Polk RC60i; Dual SVS PB 2000's; BenQ HT2050; Elite Screens 120"Man CaveTurntable - Pro-Ject 2.9 Wood/Grado GoldAmplification - Dared SL2000a, McCormack DNA 0.5 DeluxeCD: Cambridge AudioSpeakers - Wharfedale Linton 85th Anniversary; LSiM 703; SDA 2A

He is a man hocht, there is nothing like diy, nothing like getting your hands dirty, sawdust in your eyes, smelling exhaust.
Sitting in your drawing room, watching men do all your work just dont get it.
Just be aware those tools can chew you up too, especially when you think you can half **** it and not respect it.
But im sure its nice to sometimes sit in the drawing room and watch hired hands do the hard stuff, although i would not know that feeling.humpty dumpty was pushed -

I understand the DIY in him as I'm the same way....but, I'm sure he had training to become a Pro golfer...he should have had some training on how to run a saw. I cut several cords of firewood/year and you need to know what you're doing or leave it to a pro.Yep, my name really is Bob.

He just ran out of luck.
A branch he had already cut got stuck on other branches and when he was cutting around it the branch came down, hit his arm and knocked the running saw into his other arm.
Should have been an avoidable accident. It never pays to be in a hurry when cutting trees. -
The report I saw said that he will good to go when everything heals up.Home Theater
