I just gotta say this place is awesome!
I asked about some of Larry's rings for my RTA 11TL's in Larry's thread. Those speakers use the same 6.5 & tweeter as the SDA's so you can use Larrys rings for them. However he doesn't make (and I cant blame him for not) the rings for the 8" passives.
So no worries, I figured I would buy what I could and be good.
I got a PM from Agfrost asking me if I'd like to buy his set he had for his RTA 11TLs. He had the tweeter rings, the 6.5" rings and guides...
Oh yeah, and then he just nonchalantly mentioned he also just so happened to mention that his set had a set of 8" rings for his passives! Legend has it that Larry ran a one time VERY VERY LIMITED UNOBTANIUM run of 8" passive rings. I dont know how many of them are actually out in the wild, but I'd venture to say its less than 10 sets....
AND NOW I'VE GOT ONE OF EM!
So I said heck yeah!
They just showed up and other than needing a light sanding and some black rustoleum applied to protect the metal look PHENOMENAL!
I cant wait to get these babies installed in my RTA 11TL's along with some dynamat for the passives!
Thanks again Jay! Members like you are what make this a AWESOME forum!

Awesome Dan. I managed to delay putting them into my 11TL's for so long that I was able to buy a set of SDA 2B's, TL them, and donate the 11TL's to my brother before installing the rings.
I knew that you'd appreciate what the rings can do way more than my brother would, so I was very happy to move them along to an excellent fellow Polkie!
Now get those installed! They've been waiting a long time and are getting anxious!

I am hoping to get them all cleaned next week and slowly get them painted.
