need help fast! SVS pb12 deal

Hello, all I found a pb12-NSD (older with bash amp) . I am making a trip to the town it's in tomorrow, but my biggest thing is is worth it? Or should I wait until the new pb12 or PB2000? Should it blow away my 2 psw505 ? I am just confused on whether to pull the trigger.
Also, will it match nicely if I decided to get another pb12 newer sledge one?

Any help will be greatly appreciated in my decision.
Thanks a lot guys/gals!
Cheers!

  • It will dig deeper than your 505's and overall be a better sub.

You may notice a lack of bass to start with because its not as "boomy" as your 505.

What are they asking for it?

I realize pound for pound the pb12 is better and then some.
I figured I will need to get my ears acclimated for it. Just figured if I get it I might get another newer pb12 to match if they can be with different amps way down the road.
And frankly I have been listening with my subs off lately. I like the control of my rt16. I would like less boomy. BUT need the tactile presence lol(i think that would be the word)

    Thanks for info!

    Cheers!

I'd do it if it were me.

The differences between the version with the Bash & Sledge amp will not be noticeable.

  • Copy that. Thanks.
I will make the deal tomorrow morning.
None the less I am very excited.

side note- Before I noticed it was the Bash amp. I was chatting with SVS
And he told me that the PB2000 models actually
Are 35-45% increased especially down low.
Pretty stoked to have a SVS and Parasound

    Thanks again Enders !!

Yeah, but why wait for the PB2000 when you can have the PB-12NSD almost instantly!

At least they had the common courtesy to not put the hamburger on the SVS! :) yes, the SVS's make a statement next to most common consumer-grade subs. Enjoy!
