ebay scams on rise???

Don't know about y'all, but I've reported 3 obvious scammers using ebay to pick me as one of their prospective "pigeons" in the past week.

Cezar offered me a NIB Sunfire at a too good to be true price plus free shipping...

Daniela of London,UK has offered me a NOS MFSL Beatles Boxed set for $500 via UPS and I can inspect it before I pay... :eek:

But the best is this shopping list from my new best friend, crinusirila, an inactive Canadian ebayer who sent me this gem...

    I agree. There seems to be a fair amount of this going on lately and not only this flavor but others who are posting items for sale using other peoples pictures and full descriptions etc. even down to the same misspellings and reports of minor damage etc. There was one of these for an RT3000p not that long ago and other lesser expensive things all the time.

    I've been getting ebay and paypal spoofs asking for account info. Very annoying. Actually gotten all my gear from the Polk boards so far. Feel much safer here.

    but, as long as they have no association with the IRS, I think you should be able to freely ignore 'em...
