Oops just noticed you bought other ones

I'd definitely go with the 12s!

I see people are still reading this string. Latest: I listened to good advice, bought pair of LSiM705's, less load, great sound, look very nice, gave up my urge to bi-amp, saving up to buy a LSiM706c and pair of LSiM703's. Not sure if I'll need extra power when they're all hooked up?

Update: bought pair of LSiM703's, rocking my 5.1 set up, 7.1 w/the TL2's. Note: the Refurbished 703's from the Polk eBay site look & sound great, 2 year warranty instead of 5 yr new, we'll see.

Congrats! I just upgraded from Lsi to lsim, these speakers rock! They sound crisp, clear, and clean! They seem to handle gobs of power and feel much easier to drive than my lsi's! Just wait till you get that center... It's MASSIVE!2 channel:

Update, received my new 706, (Midnight Mahogany) thanks to Polk's latest F&F deal. It's huge. Minor hiccough, I'm going to have to strengthen the glass shelf it sits on. 47lbs-I don't trust my Target TV stand. May be time to replace the whole thing. 706 not hooked up, looks very nice.

...then I added a Rotel 1095 amp in the system and got a step change improvement. Now I'm pushing them (and my CsiA6 center channel and mirage surrounds) with a Parasound 2205 amp and there was another step change.
Thnx, Tony

With your gear I'd go Parasound. The Parasound does well to tone down bright speakers, and Rotel tends to do best on mellower speakers.
If I had upgraded XO components or all-channels fully bi-amped or tri-amped, would you still advise Parasound* over Rotel*? Either way do you think they're* the same from say below 2khz?
Thnx, Tony
